Today i am sharing 7 habits that can make you successful. Your life does not just decrease. Whether you know it or not, it is designed by you. Ultimately, you are the one who makes your choices.
You choose happiness. You choose grief. You choose certainty. You choose your uncertainty. You choose your success. You choose your failure. You choose courage You choose fear. So remember that every single moment, every situation gives you a new option. And in such a situation, you always have the opportunity to do things differently than yourself and produce positive results for yourself and make you successfull.
7 Habbits that can make you successful:
Habit 1 : Be Proactive
Being proactive means being responsible for your life. You cannot blame your parents or grandparents for everything. Proactive people understand that they are “response-able”. They do not blame genetics, circumstances, or surroundings for their conduct. They know that they choose their own behavior .. On the other hand, people who are reactive are mostly affected by their physical environment.
They blame external things for their behavior. If the weather is good, they like it. And if it is not, it affects their attitude and performance, and they blame the weather. All external forces act as a stimulus to which we react. Between this excitement and the reaction you react to, your greatest strength is hidden – and that is the freedom that you can choose your reaction yourself which make you successful. A very important thing is that you can choose what you say.
The language that you use, represents how you look at yourself. A proactive person uses proactive language. –I can, I will, etc. A reactive person uses reactive language – I can’t, I wish if it did, etc. Reactive people think that they themselves are not responsible for what they say and do – they have no choice. By taking responsibily you can make you successful.
In situations that can be controlled at all or little, instead of reacting or worrying about it, proactive people spend their time and energy in such things that they can control. Whatever problems, challenges or opportunities we face, we can divide them into two areas:
- Circle of Concern.
- Circle of Influence.
Proactive people focus their efforts on the Circle of Influence. They work on such things about which they can do something: health, children, problems in the field. Reactive people focus their efforts on the Circle of Concern: debt, terrorism, weather on the country. Knowing the things in which we spend our energy is a big step towards becoming proactive and make you successfull..
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
So what do you want to be when you grow up? Perhaps this question may seem a little strange, but think about it for a moment. Are you now what you wanted to be, whose dream you dreamed of, are you doing what you always wanted to do. Think honestly. Many times it happens that people see themselves achieving such a victory which is actually hollow – such a success, in return for which much bigger things had to be lost. If your ladder is not placed on the right wall, then every step you take takes you to the wrong place. You become far away the step of make you successful.
Habit 2 is based on your imagination, that is, your ability to show you things in your mind that you cannot see with your eyes right now. It is based on the principle that everything is manufactured twice. First mental creation, and second physical creation to make you successful. The way a house is built after blue-print is ready.
Similarly, physical creation takes place only after mental creation. If you do not visualize yourself what you are and what you want to become, then you leave the decision of how your life will be on others and circumstances. Habit 2 is about how you identify your specialty, and then within your personal, moral and ethical guidelines, you can keep yourself happy and complete and make you successfull.. To begin with the end in mind means to start every day, work or project with a clear vision of what direction and destination we should have, and then proactively start to complete that work.
The best way to put Habit 2 into practice is to create a personal mission statement of your own. Its focus will be on what you want to be and what you want to do. This is your planning for success. This confirms who you are, keeps your goals in focus, and brings your ideas into this world. Your Mission Statement makes you the leader of your life. You make your own destiny, and make the dreams you dreamed come true and make you successfull..
Habit 3 : Put First Things First
To live a balanced life, you have to understand that you cannot do everything in this life. There is no need to engage yourself in work beyond your capacity. Do not hesitate to say “no” when necessary, and then focus on your important priorities and make you successfull..
Habit 1 says, “You are in charge.” You are the creator ”. Being proactive is your choice. Habit 2 is first about visualizing things in the mind. Beginning with the end in mind is related to vision. Habit 3 is about the second creation, ie physical creation. Habit 1 and Habit 2 interact in this habit. And it happens every moment of all times. It deals with many questions related to Time Management and make you successfull..
But that’s not all. Habit 3 is also about life management — your purpose, values, roles, and priorities. What are “primary things”? The primary things are those which you personally consider the most valuable. If you give priority to primary tasks, that means, you are spending your time, your energy on the priorities you have set in Habit 2 and make you successfull..
Habit 4: Always Think of Winning:
It is not about being good, nor is it a short-cut. This is a code based on the character that you have to interact and collaborate with the rest of the people.
Most of us evaluate ourselves on the basis of comparison and competition with othersWe see our success in the failure of others — that is, if I win, you lose, if you win I lose. In this way life becomes a zero-sum game. Suppose there is only one roti, and if the other one takes the bigger part, then I will get less, and I will try not to get more. We all play this game, but you only think how much fun it is?
Win-Win sees life as a co-operation, not as a competition. Win-win is such a state of heart and mind that constantly inspires us to think in the interest of all. Win-Win means agreements and solutions that are beneficial and satisfactory to all. All things are eaten in it, and they taste very good . This behaviour make you successfull.
A person or organization that tries to solve problems with a win-win attitude has three main things within it:
- Integrity / Loyalty: Do not compromise with your values, commitments and feelings.
- Maturity / Maturity: To put your ideas and feelings in front of others with courage and also appreciate the thoughts and feelings of others.
- Abundance Mentality / Abundance Mindset: Believe in this that there is a lot for everyone.
Many people think in terms of either-or: either you are good or you are strict. Win-Win requires both. It is like balancing between courage and understanding. To adopt Win-Win, you have to be not only sympathetic but also confident. You have to be not only thoughtful and sensitive but also brave. Doing that –courage and balance is established in consideration, this is real maturity, and is very important for win-win and make you successfull..
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Communication is the most important skill in life and for make you successfull.. You spend many years learning to read, write and speak. But what about listening? What training have you received that teaches you to listen to others, so that you can understand the front really well? Maybe none? Why?
If you are like most people, then perhaps you too would like to explain yourself first. And in doing this, you will completely ignore the other person, it will show that you are listening, but actually you just listen to the words but completely miss their true meaning.
Think why this happens? Because most people listen with the intention that they have to reply, do not understand. You listen inside yourself and prepare what you have to say next, what questions to ask, etc. Whatever you hear, he sips through your life-experiences and reaches you and make you successfull..
You compare what you hear with your autobiography to see if it is right or wrong. And because of this, before you finish talking about others, you make a perception in your mind that what you want to say next this will stop you to make you successful. Do these sentences sound like something heard?
“Hey, I know how you feel. I felt the same. ” “The same thing happened to me.” “Let me tell you what I did at such a time.”
Because you listen to others according to your life experiences. You respond in one of these four ways:
- Evaluating / Evaluating: First you judge then agree or disagree.
- Probing / checking: You make questions and answers on your own.
- Advising / Advice: You give advice and suggest remedies.
- Interpreting / Explanation: You analyze the motive and behavior of others according to your experience.
Perhaps you are wondering what is the harm in relating to someone according to your experience? In some situations it may be appropriate to do this, such as when someone asks you to tell something based on your experiences, when there is a trust relationship between the two of you. But it is not always advisable to do so and not helpful to make you successful.
Habit 6: Synergize
In simple terms, “Two brains are better than one” Synergize means to give constructive cooperation. This is team-work. It is to find new diagnoses of old problems with an open mind to make you successful.
But this does not just happen on its own. It is a process, and through that process, people are able to use their experience and expertise. They are able to give better results together than alone. Together with Synergy we are able to find a lot together which is rarely found if we search alone. This is the idea in which the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. One plus one equals three, or six, or sixty– or more.
When people start interacting with each other honestly, and are open to being influenced by each other, then they start getting new information. Differences among themselves increase the efficiency of inventing new methods by leaps and bounds and make you successfull..
Giving importance to differences is the core of synergy. Do you really value the mental, emotional, and psychological differences between people? Or do you want all people to listen to you so that you can move ahead easily? Many people consider uniformity as unity. Mutual differences should be seen as strength, not weakness. They fill our life with enthusiasm and make you successfull..
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw:
Sharpen the Saw means to protect your greatest asset. This means designing a program for yourself that renews you in the four areas of your life, physical, social / emotional, mental, and spiritual. Below are examples of some such activities:
Physical: eating well, exercising, resting
Social / Emotional: Making social and meaningful relationships with others.
Mental : reading-writing, learning-teaching.
Spiritual : Spending time with nature, meditating, serving.
As you improve yourself in every field, you will bring progress and change in your life. Sharpen the Saw keeps you fresh so that you can practice the remaining six habits well. By doing this, you increase your ability to face challenges. Without doing so, your body becomes weak, brain becomes brainless, feelings get cold, nature becomes insensitive, and a person becomes selfish. And it’s not a good picture, why?
You feel good, it doesn’t happen on its own. The meaning of living a balanced life is to take the necessary time to renew yourself. It’s all up to you You can relax and renew yourself and get self confidence. Or you can burn yourself by doing excessive work. You can love yourself mentally and spiritually, or you can spend your life unaware of your well-being. You can experience live energy inside you or you can lose the benefits of good health and exercise by avoiding it and make you successfull..
You can revive yourself and welcome a new day with peace and harmony. Or you can wake up with sadness and see the day passing by. Just remember that every day gives you a new opportunity to renew yourself, the opportunity to recharge yourself. All that is needed is Desire (desire), Knowledge (knowledge) and Skills (skill).
